Janeen Smith Speer, M.B.A., Executive Leadership Coach
Janeen has dedicated her professional life to guiding people in the direction of their personal and career aspirations. She has mentored and coached hundreds of graduates as they made their first forays into the professional world. Currently she is the senior training specialist for Central Canada for Starbucks Coffee Canada, where she consults on district learning and development needs and acts as a facilitator and program developer. She has also introduced the concepts of coaching within Starbucks, both in group and one-on-one settings. Janeen is an accredited facilitator for popular business programs such as Situational LeadershipÆ The Core, (Center for Leadership Studies), and Increasing Human EffectivenessÆ (Edge Learning). She regularly offers classes in performance management, HR practices and staffing, and has also developed courses and targeted training in the areas of career development, networking, presentation skills, time management and organizational effectiveness. Janeen holds a M.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resources, and a B.A. in Psychology (Hons.) from Queen's University. She has also completed the Core Curriculum with the Coaches Training Institute, and has been awarded the Canadian Human Resource Professional designation.
Karli Matthison, Executive Leadership Coach
Karli Matthison is a professional co-active life and leadership coach, with a keen interest in the corporate sector and development within organizations. As a person with a strong grasp of corporate culture and political savvy - and knowing the enormous potential and impact that coaching within organizations can bring - Karli is driven to ignite the potential and leadership opportunities within each employee and at every level of management.
Karli's coaching skills are supported by a degree in Psychology combined with a rich background of experience in sales, sales training, marketing, as well as strategic planning and communications on a national platform. Currently she is working on the leading brand team for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc., as the National Manager of Medical Communications for the company's #1 product. Karli began her career as an Executive Account Manager for an authorized agency of The Document Company, Xerox, where she gained her first insights and experience learning and working with relationships within organizations.
Karli has been invited to participate in numerous public speaking engagements including National Sales Meetings for Novartis, as well as at McGill University. She earned her BA with Honors from Queen's University in Psychology and Health Sciences.
Myrka Brisson, Executive Style Coach
Myrka is an experienced style coach and a CTI (Coaching Training Institute) trained Life Coach. She uses this combined style and coaching expertise to deliver value-added services to her clients. As an active life coach, Myrka has also developed and facilitated a number of life improvement seminars over the years.
Myrka brings a unique added dimension into play to support clients in their transformation, building on her style and coaching experience to help them discover their inner potential and determine their true selves. Her methods go well beyond simple clothing selection to working with clients through a process of self- questioning and self-exploration, resulting in a life changing experience.
Myrka knows the impact that one's physical appearance through clothing has on that person's sense of confidence. Originally from Quebec City and now based in Toronto, she has always been fascinated with clothing design and style. Her extensive worldwide travels as a flight attendant provided her with an extensive international exposure that further fuelled this interest.
An avid believer of always striving to improve one's self, Myrka is the leader of a Life Makeover women's group. With her diverse combination of skills and interests, Myrka brings a passionate enthusiasm and commitment to her clients that is unique.
Ted Prodromou, CPCC, Executive Leadership Coach
Ted is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) as well as the owner of Valiss IT, a provider of computer services. Balancing two distinctly different careers has provided Ted with the skills to teach his clients how to live a balanced life based on their true desires.
Ted first experience with coaching over eight years ago created a burning desire to become a certified coach to help others break out of their box and make a difference with their lives. He broke out of his own box five years ago when he left the corporate world to start his own computer consulting business so he could live a balanced life and spend more time with his family.
Ted completed the Denis Waitley Masters Coaching Program in 1999, the CPCC coaching certification program at The Coaches Training Institute in 2001, and the Co-Active Space Leadership Program in 2003. He recently became a certified facilitator for Speaking Circles, a transformational public speaking program.
